The Living Room founder, Erica Robertiello (Psychology MA, NASM certified CPT, FNS, CES), has extensive experience in addressing diverse client needs and goals, helping them to create and live a positive and healthful lifestyle. 

Emphasis is placed on using exercise not only as a means to improve physiological conditions, but also to correct postural deficits and promote true alignment.  The Living Room training ideology is centered on the belief that movement IS health, and furthermore, an individual’s psychological constructs are predicated upon this movement.  

We also recognize that the path to health and wellness can be a deeply personal journey.  Our guests are treated and respected as individuals and our programs are personally tailored to suit the individual's needs and goals.  

Physical fitness is one of many dimensions of overall health.  Nutrition is another necessary layer for wellness.  We provide nutritional guidance via food journaling techniques and constructing a diet that will provide the critical nutritional fuel necessary for the growth and optimal maintenance of somatic processes.

Our passion (and creativity) allow us to continually evolve our programs and for our guests to stay fully invested in their own progress.  Guests also benefit from a vast network of holistic health professionals including chiropractors, massage therapists, yoga and pilates instructors, and nutritionists.

Think of this class as dropping the beat for an entire hour! Combining yoga, dance elements and straight up sexiness to make you sweat, move and connect with your body. In order to safely move through poses and maximize your effort, this class is best suited for those with an intermediate to advanced yoga practice. Get ready to add spice and freedom with new movements on the mat. Come play and let go!

This 60 min accessible guided mediation class is an escape from the rush of modern life. Beginning with gentle movement linked to the breath, and then transitioning into a reclined position, while using props to support the body. During class you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts, feelings, sensations and the natural flow of the breath. When our attention wanders it is gently brought back to the present moment. You will leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed with a new awareness and clarity.This class is open to all levels, no experience needed.


YOGA: YIN YANG (NEW CLASS!!)

If you're looking for a class with the perfect balance of hard work and relaxation, look no further. This practice begins with 30 minutes of Yang, strong vinyasa flow, designed to get the body moving and build heat. This heat prepares the body to melt into the Yin practice, 30 minutes of deep release and relaxation through restorative poses. You will leave with your body feeling strong and rejuvenated as well as with a clear, calmer mind.

This donation based community class welcomes all levels and is meant to add a little fun and relaxation to your practice. Flows will range from core intensive to restorative and mellow. Be ready to sweat a bit, move to a good beat, and make a few friends along the way.

As a donation based class you are encouraged to leave what you can and enjoy all that you want! In the spirit of community, and with the intention of offering this practice to many, this class will allow for 12 clients at a time (unlike our standard 5). Clients are encouraged to bring their own mats for this class, as quantities are limited at the studio.

Interested in cultivating optimal body alignment for all of your movement endeavors? Seeking to rebuild from injury or just simply in need of a little TLC for your overrun nervous and/or muscular system? This 60 minute pilates based class will get you gelling with your spine and all the muscles that support it in fun new ways. Working with props and concise imagery, this class will build your core, hip, and shoulder stability while also amping up your joint mobility. Whether you choose to play in the water, in the studio, on the mat or on the pavement, or are simply looking to return to what you and your body loves in a new stronger way, Align and Design has health at the heart of its' blueprint. Come get strong from the inside out and feel prepared for whatever your movement junkie self plans to take on next.

If a yogi and a meathead got together and created a baby, this class would be that miracle. In this 60 minute class fundamentals of strength training are used to help build up the muscular system transitioning into a stronger yoga practice. Fundamentals such as squats, lunges, pushups, will all be used in relation to a flow sequence that also targets the same muscle group. The end result? The best of both worlds and a body that moves with alignment and ease. This class is great for intermediate and advanced practitioners of movement who are looking to take their program to a new level.

Leave those boring crunches alone and come prepared for this 60 minute ab sculpting workout that is guaranteed to keep your heart rate up. The perfect blend of core work and cardio bursts designed to improve your powerhouse and endurance! Focus will be made on learning how to properly recruit and engage the muscles of the core while moving through a variety of dynamic exercises.

This 60 minute slow flow class is the perfect time to unwind the mind and find serenity at the end of your day. All levels are welcome and props will be available to facilitate in melting the body into a calmer and more spacious place.

This 60 minute class is a blend of high intensity cardio bouts and some of the finest moves Pilates has to offer. We've kicked things up a notch from the standard mat class and with out a doubt you will leave sweating!


SMOOTH OPERATOR

This 60 minute class utilizes gliding discs to challenge you with a wide variety of exercises targeting all major muscle groups. The discs allow you to complete movements with a greater range of motion (think harder) while decreasing risk of injury (yay!). Variety is the best defense against training plateaus, and this class will certainly challenge cardiovascular ability, balance, and muscular strength in an exciting way. (Even abdominal exercises are taken to a whole new level...... hasta la vista boring crunches).


INNER OLYMPIAN

This 60 minute "boot camp" style workout inspires you to harness your inner athlete. A full body workout that is high intensity and packed with power style movements. Intended to push you past usual thresholds and inspiring change by challenging muscular strength, force production, and cardiovascular endurance.


BALANCED BODY

BALANCED BODY

This 60 minute class begins by focusing on restorative techniques for the body, including dynamic stretching and high density foam rollers. The goal is to lengthen tight and over active muscles while also using self massage methods to bring efficiency back into the muscular system. This allows the body to open and better receive exercises. The second part of the class will be centered on balance, targeting all major muscle groups, and is designed to challenge internal stabilization systems. This program is created with the goal of preventing injury while also helping to reset the body in a challenging and new way.
