PROnatal Fitness offers prenatal and postpartum fitness classes that address the specific needs of the expecting and new mother’s body.  All workouts are designed with input from fitness, health, and medical experts, and incorporate modifiable cardio conditioning, total body strengthening, and proper core training.  Classes are held in various locations in uptown and downtown Manhattan, and are highly modifiable for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy or motherhood.

PROnatal Prenatal Class

PROnatal Prenatal Class

This 1-hour total body workout is not just safe, but truly effective for the specific needs of the expecting mother’s body. The class incorporates appropriate cardio conditioning, total body strengthening, and proper core training – with an emphasis on the muscles most important to helping you have a more comfortable pregnancy, easier labor, and faster recovery. This class is modifiable for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy. We teach you how to gauge the appropriate intensity for your body, and how to modify it throughout your pregnancy and postpartum recovery. We also work to dispel myths and answer all questions you have regarding exercise during and after pregnancy!


PROnatal Stroller Workout

PROnatal Stroller Workout

This 1-hr total body indoor workout includes cardio conditioning, strength training, and proper core rehabilitation – with an emphasis on the muscles and exercises most important to help your body recover faster (and more effectively) from delivery. The class is designed for moms to do with their babies (or toddlers!), but can easily be done without your baby as well! The class format alternates between drills pushing the stroller, and those with it parked, and is highly modifiable for all fitness levels and stages of motherhood. Also modifiable for expecting moms!


Personal Training

Personal Training

PROnatal Fitness™ offers in-home personal training for women trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or postpartum. All sessions start with a complimentary in-person consultation to do basic assessments and get a better understanding of your body’s needs, as well as your goals, preferences, and any other information necessary to design a safe, enjoyable, and effective workout for you. Workouts combine appropriate cardio conditioning, strength training, and proper core training, and incorporate input from fitness, health, and medical experts. Training sessions take place at the location of your choosing -- in your home, building gym, outside, etc.
